Local Studies

Local study meetings provide an opportunity for the League to study national, state and local issues. Materials are provided for study, the issue is discussed, and the League comes to a concensus on the issue.

Study Topics

Studies are part of the League Program and include all of the positions the League uses to affect public policy as well as the procedures for adopting these programs.

Local Study Topic

Educating and encouraging the community to participate in the voting process in August and November 2016. The latest information on registering and voting with Voter ID will be communicated to the local communities in Ozaukee County.

The LWV-OZ supports the goals of the Lake Michigan League of Women Voters:

-Educate the Public and the Lake Michigan Leagues on the Problems of Lake Michigan and the Great Lakes.

-Encourage Public Participation of the Great Lakes.

-Support Scientific Research for the Great Lakes.

-Encourage Shoreline Management Planning and Implementation
